Who We Are
Jones Plastic & Engineering was founded in 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky by Harry and Larry Jones. What began as a single-machine operation producing whiskey bottle caps has grown into a multi-facility plastic manufacturing company with nine total locations across the United States and Mexico.
For over six decades, Jones Plastic has built deep expertise in injection molding — pioneering gas-assist molding and high-speed molding processes in the early 1990s. Today, the company operates a fully integrated manufacturing platform that includes product development, injection molding, robotic paint and hydrographics, assembly, and testing — supported by an in-house prototyping lab producing functional, fit-and-finish, and CMF prototypes using advanced 3D printing. Supported by ISO 9001-certified quality management systems, Jones Plastic maintains a commitment to consistent product quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across its manufacturing network.
Jones Plastic & Engineering employs approximately 3,000 people across nearly 1.6 million square feet of manufacturing space. The company also operates Rev-A-Shelf, a wholly owned subsidiary and market-leading manufacturer of residential cabinet storage and organizational products.
In 2026, the company celebrates its 65th anniversary with the second and third generations of the Jones family active in the organization.
