Our prototyping lab in Louisville, KY supports product development with two Stratasys 3D printing systems chosen specifically for different stages of the design process:
Stratasys F770 FDM — capable of printing parts up to 39 x 24 x 24 inches for large-format, functional prototypes out of ABS and ASA.
Stratasys J826 Prime PolyJet — capable of printing multi-material, multi-color, multi-durometer prototypes for CMF (Color, Material, Finish) validation.
Bambu H2D – with a smaller footprint than the F770, the BAMBU H2D allows us to run a wide variety of materials including ABS, ASA, PLA, Nylon, Nylon Glass Filled, Nylon Carbon Fiber, Polycarbonate, TPU, PETG, HIPS, PPS (CF and GF) and others.

The Stratasys F770 FDM printer offers over 13 cubic feet of build volume 39.4 x 24 x 24 inches (1000mm x 610mm x 610mm) — one of the largest print envelopes in the Stratasys FDM lineup. Ideal for printing large parts in a single piece or batching smaller components.
Available materials: ABS Black, ASA Ivory, ASA Red, ASA Yellow, ASA White, ASA Blue, ASA Light Gray, ASA Black.
CMF (Color, Material, Finish) properties directly influence a product’s perceived value. Our J826 Prime PolyJet printer produces full-color, multi-material and multi-duromoter prototypes that validate how a product looks, feels, and behaves — one of the few service bureaus offering this capability. We work diligently to ensure color matching to Pantone and other color standards.
For projects requiring injection-molded thermoplastic samples, we can 3D-print mold inserts that load into a mold base for short production runs. Depending on part size, complexity, and resin grade, expect 10 to 100+ shots from a single 3D-printed insert.
The Stratasys J826 Prime PolyJet printer features a 10 x 10 x 8 inch build chamber and can print up to 7 different materials simultaneously — combining material properties, durometers, colors, and overmolded materials in a single build.
Every voxel (3D Pixel) can have a different color as well as durometer enabling our engineers to produce about anything possible.
Capabilities include: color matching (printed plaques), textures, gloss/matte finishes, transparency, woodgrain, simulated liquids, labels, soft-touch buttons, food displays, pre-production product samples for photo shoots, and Digital ABS 3D-printed mold inserts for functional injection-molded sample parts.
When speed and cost are most important, dual-nozzle/multi-material FDM printing can provide a great mix of capability and value. FDM technology enables the creation of durable prototypes that can be used for form, fit, and functional evaluation while significantly reducing lead times compared to machined or production-intent parts. The Bambu H2D expands our additive manufacturing capabilities by providing fast, high-quality FDM printing for small- and medium-sized prototype parts. While its build chamber is smaller than our F770 platform, it offers exceptional material flexibility, supporting a wide range of commercially available filaments including engineering-grade, reinforced, flexible, and specialty materials.
This capability enables rapid design iterations, functional testing, and production-representative prototypes using materials selected specifically for your application's performance requirements.
